Job summary

Incident IQ, based in Atlanta, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead design, architecture, and population of a new BI data warehouse. You will aggregate data from the core SaaS platform and third-party systems into a centralized data lake, owning the analytics foundation end-to-end as a true architect-engineer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Architecture in a SaaS environment.
• Built greenfield data infrastructure end-to-end and can name it and explain decisions.
• Deep expertise in modern cloud data warehousing and data lakes.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale a modern BI data warehouse/data lake from the ground up.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources including Azure-hosted platforms and CRM systems.
• Evaluate platforms on latency, performance, schema evolution, and TCO; drive decisions with RD and Finance.
• Establish data governance, quality checks, and performance optimization.
• Maintain data freshness, completeness, and reconciliation to a published SLA.
