Job summary

UpClear, a leading SaaS revenue management platform provider, seeks a Data Architect to design, optimize, and scale data and reporting layers. Focus on SQL data warehouse, BI data models, and Microsoft Fabric pipelines for CPG analytics.

The role supports on-site collaboration four days a week at our West 22nd Street office in New York, with potential contractor arrangement. Strong data warehousing and Fabric experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, data engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer in BI environments.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse design expertise.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and BI/reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data architecture to support scalable, high-performance reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain SQL-based data warehouse structures.
• Improve and standardize data models for BI and reporting tools.
• Build and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting layers.
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve storage and query performance.
• Document data models, architecture, and processes.
