Job summary

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure architecture that supports informed decision-making. This role is an individual contributor position with mentoring influence and a strong focus on governance and platform modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years in data architecture or solution design across BI, analytics, or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, SQL, and a scripting language (Python or Spark).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Skill in dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, data integration, and semantic modeling.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for data solutions.
• Advanced BI expertise and the business sense to become a subject matter expert in complex processes.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable data solutions on Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Power BI, Synapse).
• Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and semantic layers for analytics and reporting.
• Lead the technical side of a platform modernization program, including migration to Fabric.
• Work with business analysts and data engineers to turn requirements into clear architecture blueprints.
• Uphold data governance, quality, and security standards across projects.
• Tune performance and optimize cost across data workflows and reporting assets.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to architecture reviews and standards.
