SMX is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and optimize the enterprise data warehouse, enabling advanced analytics for a federal-like mission. You will lead data architecture, model design, and robust ETL/ELT pipelines across critical systems.

You will drive cloud modernization on AWS, with migration toward Databricks and Data Lakes, while collaborating with stakeholders and governance teams to ensure data quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Database Design.
• Proven experience architecting data solutions in AWS cloud environment.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling techniques for reporting and analytics.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and MariaDB.
• Experience building ETL/ELT using SSIS, Python, or Databricks.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead Data Architecture: design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and data marts for enterprise data warehouse.
• Data Modeling & Design: create logical/physical models and maximize analytics capabilities.
• ETL & Data Integration: oversee ETL/ELT pipelines across critical systems and external sources.
• Technical Leadership & Governance: serve as SME for data architecture and support governance activities.
• Cloud Modernization: assess and optimize AWS cloud infra; assist migration to Databricks/Data Lakes.
