Job summary

Analytica is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data solutions for federal government missions. You will lead modernization of data environments using cloud-native technologies, Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

The role requires hands-on work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance aligned to federal standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture or related fields, with at least 3 years in cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake and distributed processing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services (e.g., Glue, S3, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Experience designing data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming architectures.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
• Familiarity with federal data standards and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Lead modernization of legacy data environments into cloud-based big data platforms.
• Architect solutions using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake and related tech.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and metadata management per federal standards.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to align with mission objectives.
• Develop data models, pipelines, APIs, and integration strategies across sources.
• Ensure architectures support analytics, AI/ML, and BI use cases.
• Mentor data engineers and support bid/proposal activities with architecture content.
