Job summary

SiloSmashers is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise data systems supporting analytics and secure data sharing for DHS CISA. You will ensure data structures and platforms meet security standards and mission needs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS/Data Science (8+ years in data architecture or engineering), strong SQL and Gov cloud experience (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov), and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. On-site Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SQL and cloud data platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov).
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Lead cloud data migration and integration initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DHS and NIST data security requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and system engineers to optimize data architecture.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for data quality, storage, and retrieval.
