Job summary

Citizant is a leading IT services provider to the U.S. government, seeking a Cloud Data Architect in Washington, DC to define and govern enterprise architecture, align data ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, and security with mission needs, collaborating with executives and engineering teams.

The role requires 10–15 years in data governance/architecture/analytics, federal experience, strong standards, and the ability to drive modernization through DevSecOps and API-driven platforms. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10 - 15 years of data governance/architecture/analytics experience; AND 5+ years of federal data governance, metadata, data quality, dashboards
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise architectures across cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and enterprise applications.
• Experience establishing architecture governance frameworks and technical standards.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data architecture, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working with federal agencies or large enterprise organizations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise architecture framework, reference architectures, and technology standards.
• Establish and lead architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards and technical design reviews.
• Define and maintain reference architectures for cloud environments, SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and data services.
• Guide engineering teams in designing integrated, scalable, and resilient solutions.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with goals and evolving mission needs.
