The Senior Data and Performance Manager is appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of, the Governor. The successful candidate will possess the core competencies, skills, and passion to further performance management and data-driven decision making within the Moore-Miller administration. This position sits within the Executive Office of Governor Wes Moore, within the Governor’s Office of Performance Improvement.
Grade 21; Range: $111,314 - $120,491
Annapolis, MD with teleworking flexibility
General Purpose: The Senior Data and Performance Manager will work as part of the Governor’s Office of Performance Improvement to use data and performance management methodologies to support operational efficiencies and improve service delivery across state government. They will lead project-based work between the Governor’s Office of Performance Improvement and agencies to advance Moore-Miller administration priorities.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience as a Performance Analyst, Policy Analyst, Data Analyst, Research Assistant, or in a similar role, preferably in a government or political setting.
Note: Candidates may substitute 4 additional years of experience as defined above for the education requirement.
