Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Principal Data & Analytics Engineer in Stamford, CT or Wakefield, MA on-site.

You will lead the architecture and engineering standards for a modern data ecosystem, delivering trusted, scalable data products across teams, while mentoring engineers and influencing multiple domains. This hands-on, senior IC role partners with data, BI, data science and product teams to define roadmaps, ensure secure Snowflake environments, and drive CI/CD and engineering quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Architecture, or related field.
• Senior technical lead experience with influence across teams.
• Strong hands-on with Snowflake, data architecture, performance, and cost optimization.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with dbt, data models, and modern analytical data structures.
• Proficient in Git, testing, CI/CD, and environment management.
• Able to communicate tradeoffs to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve end-to-end data architecture across ingestion, Snowflake, dbt, and related services.
• Translate business strategy into scalable roadmaps and platform capabilities.
• Architect secure, cost-efficient Snowflake environments for data products and analytics.
• Lead cross-team collaboration with data engineers, BI, data science, and product owners.
• Advance engineering standards, testing, deployment, and version control.
