Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager- Data Analysis (Card) to lead cross-functional teams in validating analytical tools and driving data-driven decision-making. You will refine validation frameworks, plan projects, assess tool quality and risks, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field with data analytics experience.
Experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
Experience managing people (team leadership).

Responsibilities

Refining a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
Planning and executing validation projects.
Assessing the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies.
Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing risks & opportunities.
Researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging tools.
Communicating results via validation reports and presentations.
Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
