Qualifications

Degree in statistics, economics, OR operations research, analytics, mathematics or CS with 7+ years data analytics.
At least 5 years of professional data analytics experience.
Experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
Minimum 2 years of people management.

Responsibilities

Refining a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
Planning and executing validation projects.
Assessing the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One.
Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing risks and opportunities.
Independently researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging analytical tools.
Communicating results clearly via validation reports and presentations.
Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
