Job summary

BDR Solutions, LLC, a leader in federal data analytics, seeks a Senior Technical Expert to guide enterprise data analytics, modernization, and cloud-based solutions. You will lead design, development, integration, and implementation of data solutions using Databricks, Azure, Power BI, and SharePoint while ensuring governance and scalability.

You will mentor teams, evaluate new technologies, and drive data-driven decision making across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field with ten years of experience in data analytics, software development, cloud engineering, BI, or data architecture.
• Advanced experience with Databricks, Azure Cloud Services, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
• Expertise in Azure Data Lake, data warehousing, data modeling, and data migration strategies.
• Advanced SQL programming and database optimization experience.
• Experience developing enterprise dashboards, KPI frameworks, and executive reporting solutions.
• Leadership of technical teams and large-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Strong governance, security, performance optimization, and scalability knowledge in cloud data environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, analysts, engineers, and project teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative data solutions.
• Define and enforce standards, governance for analytics and data management.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team velocity.
• Design and code high-quality deliverables adhering to standards.
• Produce timely, accurate reports and dashboards from large data sets.
• Apply data visualization to tell stories and drive action.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Data Scientists on data products.
• Perform data investigations to identify correlations and trends.
