EvolutionIQ in New York, NY seeks a Senior Business Analyst on the Data Science & Insights team to translate complex data into actionable insights driving operational change and measurable client outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end analytical projects, write SQL, develop reusable Python tools, and build Looker dashboards to enable scalable client analytics, automated reporting, and ROI storytelling across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Consulting, or similar role.
• Industry experience in Disability Insurance or Tech preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, data modeling (dbt), and data visualization tools to perform independent deep dives into claim performance data.
• Proven ability to explain the Why behind an AI recommendation to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with claims management workflows and regulatory landscape of disability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Scale and automate recurring deliverables, while ensuring data is trustworthy.
• Owns delivery of end-to-end analytical project lifecycles and defines success criteria.
• Create high-impact visualizations and business cases demonstrating ROI of AI integration.
• Collaborate with clients and executive leadership to translate complex business questions into insights.
• Challenge assumptions and ensure team alignment on approach and vision.
