Job summary

Liftoff is a leading AI-powered performance marketing platform for mobile apps, with a remote-first approach and US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City. We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to tackle the hardest analytical problems across Liftoff's supply side.

You will write and optimize complex SQL on massive datasets, build dashboards with Looker/Tableau, and mentor teams while partnering with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive strategic results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Approximately 8+ years in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics.
Expertise writing complex, performance-optimized SQL on large datasets; cloud data warehouses experience.
Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured analyses with actionable recommendations.
Consulting-style storytelling: defend recommendations and handle pushback.
Ability to mentor others and lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

Perform root-cause analysis and triage issues at the intersection of product performance and KPIs.
Build and automate dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and reporting pipelines using SQL and BI tools.
Incorporate ML model changes and SDK updates into business impact analyses for Commercial teams.
Lead end-to-end transformational projects from ideation to rollout.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive initiatives.
