Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer in Manchester, NH, to lead the technical foundation for Decision Ready Insights. You will design the data architecture, governance, and analytics framework transforming portfolio, financial, and delivery data into trusted enterprise insights.

This role blends hands-on data engineering with the ability to translate executive needs into scalable reporting solutions, moving beyond dashboards to architecture, integration, and delivery leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or related field.
• Experience designing enterprise data architectures and executive reporting solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills with dimensional modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on with Azure data technologies and Power BI datasets and reporting.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, quality, and source-to-report controls.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to executives and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Decision Ready Insights data architecture and reporting model.
• Integrate portfolio, delivery, financial, benefits, KPI, and resource data from diverse sources.
• Establish identifiers, relationships, lineage, and ownership across data assets.
• Build governed datasets, semantic models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and KPI logic.
• Assess data quality, validation, monitoring, and remediation controls.
• Translate use cases into scalable, enterprise reporting solutions for leaders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, metrics, and priorities.
• Document architecture, standards, and roadmap; transfer knowledge to teams.

Position Overview:

• A seasoned Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to lead the technical foundation for Decision Ready Insights.
• This role will design the data architecture, governed reporting model, and analytics framework that transform portfolio, financial, and delivery data into trusted insights for enterprise decision-making.
• Combines hands-on data engineering expertise with the ability to translate executive and operational needs into scalable reporting solutions.
• This is not solely a dashboard-development role; it requires architecture, integration, governance, and delivery leadership.
• The successful consultant is a pragmatic architect and hands-on builder who can move from strategy to implementation.
• They will be comfortable challenging assumptions, resolving ambiguity, engaging senior stakeholders, and maintaining focus on actionable insight rather than dashboard volume.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Decision Ready Insights data architecture and reporting model.
• Integrate portfolio, delivery, financial, benefits, KPI, and resource data from Planview, Azure DevOps (ADO), EWM, Finance, Power BI, and other approved enterprise sources.
• Establish common identifiers, data relationships, authoritative-source rules, lineage, and ownership.
• Build governed datasets, reusable semantic models, ETL/ELT pipelines, historical snapshots, KPI calculations, and trend logic.
• Assess data quality and implement validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and remediation controls.
• Translate decision and reporting use cases into scalable solutions for EIC, Portfolio Leaders, Program Leaders, Delivery Teams, and EPMO Leadership.
• Partner with business, technology, finance, and portfolio stakeholders to define requirements, metrics, and reporting priorities.
• Document the target architecture, standards, operating model, and roadmap; transfer knowledge to internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise data architectures and executive reporting solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with dimensional modeling, semantic models, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies and Power BI datasets, models, and reporting.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, and source-to-report controls.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Planview, Azure DevOps, EWM, portfolio management, or EPMO reporting.
• Executive scorecards, KPI frameworks, investment governance, benefits realization, or financial reporting.
• Delivering in an ambiguous, cross-functional enterprise environment.
• A trusted source-to-report architecture is established and documented.
• Critical data definitions, ownership, and validation rules are consistently applied.
• Manual reconciliation is reduced through governed, reusable data products.
• Role-based reporting supports clear decisions, actions, and accountability.
• A scalable technical foundation and prioritized roadmap are ready for continued delivery.
