Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Data Analyst in Westwood, MA to support the Technical Solutions team with data analysis for energy efficiency and decarbonization programs across residential, multifamily, and commercial sectors.

You will analyze performance data, validate energy savings data, and help improve program offerings and tools while collaborating with internal teams to meet diverse deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience; internship ideal if 0 years.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics/statistics, or engineering.
• Technical skills: Power BI & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to understand analysis objectives and translate into data requirements.
• Perform hands-on energy efficiency and decarbonization project data analysis.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues ensuring results align with engineering principles.
• Triage data analysis issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
• Use SQL (or equivalent querying), Power BI and Excel to validate data and produce repeatable analyses.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate discussions on measure definitions, eligibility, and engineering assumptions.
• Evaluate data from field studies to influence program impacts.

Position Overview

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
• This position will support the data analysis needs of Technical Solutions team in the areas of innovation, technical sales assistance, and program support related to Client efficiency and decarbonization programs that serve the residential, multifamily and commercial and industrial sectors.
• Responsibilities will include evaluation of data related to performance of new technologies, analyzing energy efficiency and decarbonization offer data, reviewing and summarizing project information, and helping to improve energy efficiency and decarbonization program offerings and tools related to the energy efficiency programs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
• This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where competing deadlines need to be met, and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members and relevant stakeholders to understand analysis objectives, processes, and decision needs; translate them into clear analytical and data requirements.
• Perform hands-on energy efficiency and decarbonization project data analysis (profiling, trends / outliers, reconciliation) to support insights on energy efficiency production and market trends.
• Troubleshoot and rectify energy efficiency project energy savings data quality issues ensuring results align with building science and energy engineering principles.
• Triage energy efficiency project data analysis issues with technical evidence, isolate likely root cause, and help coordinate resolution with appropriate internal teams associated with energy efficiency offer.
• Use SQL (or equivalent querying), Power BI and Excel to validate data, reconcile results, and produce repeatable analysis for a project or measure portfolio.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Help facilitate discussions to collaborate on energy efficiency / decarbonization measure definitions, eligibility, engineering assumptions, and best practices to produce reasonable savings results.
• Evaluate the data from field studies involving innovative energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies to influence their impact on programs offered by Client, both now and for future consideration.

Required Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience; if 0 years, internship would be ideal.
• Bachelor's (data science, mathematics statistics and engineer would be an ideal candidate).
• Technical Skills: Power BI & Excel

Pay Rate

$44 / Hour
