Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics, SIU to partner across the organization, scoping analyses and monitoring key financial and utilization metrics. The role focuses on reducing medical waste and delivering affordable, high-quality care for Oscar's members.

You will report to the Manager, SIU Data Analytics & Reporting. The position is fully remote for U.S. residents (excluding certain states), with occasional travel for team meetings and events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of technical work using analytical tools and writing reports.
• Experience with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• Strong communication of reporting impact to non-technical users.
• Experience in SQL, with filtering, aggregation, and CTEs; or Python/R with Pandas.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP and nested IFs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to support business teams in making data-driven decisions.
• Tell data stories that non-technical colleagues can understand.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of dashboards and enhance them as needs evolve.
• Create models and tools to identify and remove inefficiencies.
• Collaborate across the organization to identify actions and monitor impact.
• Support strategic projects as needed to meet business goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
