Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 7+ years analytics experience, or Master’s with 5+ years analytics.
• Experience leading and developing teams with open source data technologies.
• Experience managing people (2+ years).
• Experience in data strategy and governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Refining an enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
• Planning and executing validation projects.
• Assessing quality and risk of tool methodologies across Capital One.
• Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and their risks.
• Researching and prototyping industry best practices for tools.
• Communicating results via validation reports and presentations.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
