Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL for exploring ambiguous datasets and validating results.
• Proficient in Python (PySpark) and familiarity with big‑data concepts (HDFS).
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity; able to propose data-driven approaches.
• Excellent communication; able to present insights to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of telecom/mobile domain (5G, devices, MVNOs) is desirable.
• Experience with GIS data and map visualizations in Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Dive into large datasets (SQL-heavy) to detect competitive patterns and answer what’s happening and why across mobile/telecom.
• Build end‑to‑end proofs of concept—ingest, analyze, and present insights; collaborate with ETL teams to productionize pipelines.
• Present findings to Stamford‑based stakeholders and the marketing org’s competitive intelligence team.
• Use PySpark/AWS EMR for data processing; leverage HDFS where relevant.
• Create visualizations (Tableau or map‑based) and collaborate with GIS when solutions move to production.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests to ramp on data and tools, then contribute to the 2026 mobile insights roadmap.
