Harnham is hiring a Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Analytics & Reporting team. The role will build reporting, dashboards, and data solutions that support Finance, HR, Compliance, Risk, and other enterprise teams.

The ideal candidate is strong in SQL and Tableau, has experience with dbt and Databricks, and can turn business needs into clear, reliable analytics. This full-time position is based in Austin, TX, offering opportunities to impact multiple enterprise functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, or analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, aggregations, and data validation.
• Experience building dashboards/reports in Tableau; Power BI/Looker experience a plus.
• Experience with dbt or similar data-transformation tools (Dataform, SQLMesh, Coalesce).
• Experience with Databricks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, or cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and reporting best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics in Tableau.
• Use SQL to analyze, validate, and transform data from multiple business systems.
• Build and support data models and transformation workflows using dbt and Databricks.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Compliance, Risk, and enterprise stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Support recurring financial, operational, workforce, compliance, and risk reporting.
• Improve reporting processes through automation, documentation, and data-quality checks.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
