Job summary

NuAxis is seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Power BI Developer to analyze investigative data from case management systems and develop enterprise visualization resources for agency stakeholders.

The role requires 6+ years IT experience with 5+ years in data analytics, expertise in Power BI/Tableau, SQL scripting, and data modeling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and Agile practices are essential in this full-time position.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT with 5+ years in data analytics.
• Experience building modern BI solutions.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and Oracle; able to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience turning raw data into actionable information using Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience in data mining, data modeling, and using DAX Studio.
• Knowledge of database structures and creating views.
• Excellent Excel skills including graphs and pivot tables.
• Experience with Agile methodologies using Jira and TFS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from case management systems and create data-visualization resources for stakeholders.
• Oversee data-model development: conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Translate business data into enterprise information and support metadata schemas and taxonomies.
• Support design of SQL queries for data retrieval in search engines.
• Communicate findings to business stakeholders with clear, data-driven recommendations.
