Tempus AI seeks an experienced Senior Data Analyst to design and execute clinical evidence studies aimed at delivering personalized cancer care. You will leverage dbt, SQL,and Looker to build data models and robust analyses that inform treatment decisions.

The role emphasizes translating complex data into actionable insights, maintaining data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in an analytical or consulting role within or in support of the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
• Strong command of SQL and other scripting languages (R or Python)
• Experience using BI software such as Looker
• Experience in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology and/or clinical trials
• Experience building client-ready deliverables and outputs
• Experience translating raw data into practical insights and recommendations
• Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and visualization
• Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical data models using dbt and SQL to meet data delivery requirements
• Develop reports for central monitoring and KPI visualization of study performance
• Build data pipelines for data delivery and post-processing to analysis-ready datasets
• Support data integration across data marts with de-identification of protected health information
• Maintain code quality with validation and documentation
