Job summary

Staffmark Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to manage company-wide data systems and develop a single source of truth across the organization. You will lead data-driven initiatives to identify root causes and design improved business processes and solutions.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams, drive complex analyses in Excel and BI tools, and provide documentation and training to users. This is a contract opportunity located in Plano, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a technical field, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience working as a data/systems analyst, project management, process improvement, or similar role
• Ability to structure and perform complex analysis within Excel and related BI tools such as Tableau, Data Cubes, SAP BI, or similar databases

Responsibilities

• Manage company-wide data systems and related projects, supporting data governance for the business.
• Collaborate with partner teams to drive results across the company, defining company technical requirements for systems and processes for development and/or enhancement.
• Identify root causes of problems and use data-driven approaches to develop and implement new business processes and solutions.
• Conduct analysis, interpret technical documents and processes, and draw valid conclusions regarding user needs and business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance; develop and update user documentation, written instructions, training guides, and manuals; meet with users to provide information regarding system changes and enhancements.
