Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, TX seeks a Data Analyst V to perform highly complex data collection, research, reporting, and analysis. You will design reports, back-end data structures, and logic to drive PMA reporting and improve data quality under supervision.

The role involves coordinating with RSDA staff and agency personnel to ensure requirements are met, preparing technical documents, and presenting findings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in data science, business analytics, computer science, computer information systems, or related field.
• Experience with data analysis, compilation, and reporting work.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Developer, Toad, Tableau or other database development tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare data analyses, reports, and dashboards to monitor program performance.
• Develop and maintain back-end tables and logic to drive reporting; modify programs as requirements change.
• Collaborate with program SMEs and HHSC staff to ensure accuracy and quality of reporting.
