XCentium is seeking a Principal Consultant / Senior Data Analyst for a full-time hybrid role in Boston. The candidate will bridge business strategy, data engineering, and delivery, leading discovery, analyzing legacy data models, reviewing system integrations, and mapping enterprise-level digital transformations.

The ideal person has elite consulting or internal innovator background, strong data analysis, and ability to scope and estimate effort with a data architect; hybrid work, great benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business Administration, CS or related field.
• 7+ years consulting experience, with digital/tech environments.
• 4+ years data analysis experience with modern data platforms (Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Ability to write complete requirements and QA tests.
• Strong data flow and enterprise data modeling knowledge.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery cadence for client engagements and drive RAID logs.
• Lead enterprise discovery and stakeholder interviews.
• Map integrations and data flows across ERP, WMS, OMS, and payment gateways.
• Analyze data and write SQL for data extraction and modeling.
• Coordinate with data architects on solution design.
