HMH, through its NWEA division, seeks a Sr Data Analyst to make complex assessment data accessible, reliable, and usable for research and decision-making. You will work with large education datasets and build reproducible data pipelines for analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience or coursework.
• MS in statistics, education, psychology, economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot data problems.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL, Python, and/or R to extract, clean, transform, link, and prepare large-scale datasets for research and analysis.
• Develop and maintain reproducible data workflows and pipelines for recurring data needs.
• Conduct data pulls and analyses of product usage data to support internal stakeholders.
• Partner with researchers to translate questions into datasets and data structures.
• Design and conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure data accuracy.
