You will write SQL queries, build dashboards, and maintain data pipelines, collaborating with the team to translate real-world school needs into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Experience writing SQL queries by hand across multiple tables
• Ability to translate business rules into SQL and data visualizations
• Ability to read and adapt existing SQL queries
• Ability to analyze large datasets for issues or trends
• Attention to detail ensuring data accuracy
• Collaborative approach to problem solving
• Identify root causes of data issues and suggest improvements
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
• Strong written documentation skills
• Comfortable working remotely and managing time

Responsibilities

• Build reports and visualizations making education data accessible for students, families, staff
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to prepare datasets for analysis
• Identify patterns and errors in large datasets and design solutions
• Collaborate with team to translate school needs into technical solutions
• Onboard new districts by configuring the app to fit data, users, reporting needs
• Document new and existing processes
