MetLife’s Data & Analytics organization seeks a seasoned Data Analyst to turn business requirements into production‑grade data and analytics solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or related role.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data profiling, data quality validation, and data storage and retrieval principles.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (RDBMS) and document databases.
• Experience designing and supporting data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes, including Medallion architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles and their application in data and analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience partnering with business leaders, cross‑functional teams, and key stakeholders to drive data‑informed decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Author functional requirements documents to develop and deliver production‑grade data and analytics solutions.
• Solve complex business problems using data and advanced technologies.
• Analyze data in the context of business processes, requirements.
• Provide inputs to data architecture, engineering, governance, modeling, quality and data science teams.
• Validate the data loaded by the engineering team.
• Provide people leadership: coach, develop and engage talent.
• Independently lead design, solutioning & estimations.
• Collaborate with global teams including offshore resources to deliver and support data engineering solutions.
