Job summary

PSEG Long Island is seeking a highly analytical analytics professional to transform customer and operational data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and elevate customer experiences. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing data analytics or data science.
• Experience designing dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Expertise in data wrangling, including integrating multiple data sources into cohesive data assets and aggregating large datasets.
• Proficiency with Alteryx or Tableau Prep.
• Experience with Python, SQL or R and machine learning methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop automated dashboards and data visualizations to track customer experience metrics and provide reporting solutions.
• Work cross-functionally to pull information from internal and external sources to support initiatives and track performance.
• Support end-to-end VoC programs, customer segmentation, propensity modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and adherence to analytical best practices.
• Proactively propose advanced analytics solutions and deploy ML models and text analytics.
• Establish relationships to share best practices in data science and stay updated on industry trends.
