Job summary

PSEG Services Corp. is seeking an IT Engineer Principal I – Data & Analytics to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and curated datasets for enterprise reporting and AI initiatives.

You will work with analysts, product managers, and partners to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery across the company. Responsibilities include developing data workflows, documenting data flows, and coordinating with architects, cloud/infra teams, and cybersecurity to align with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6–8 years delivering technology solutions in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong ownership and leadership of technical components.
• Experience documenting data flows and system behavior.
• Familiarity with data warehouse/lake architectures and governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design, implement, and test data pipelines and models for reporting and analytics.
• Create, maintain, and optimize data pipelines transitioning from development to production.
• Develop documentation for data flows, specs, and processes to aid understanding.
• Collaborate with analysts, BI developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and integration with other tech areas.
