Job summary

9amHealth seeks a Data Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team, partnering with Customer Success to deliver best-in-class reporting—from QBRs to ad hoc analyses. You will own the reporting lifecycle, build data models and dashboards in Looker, and write Python and SQL powering those insights.

You will proactively explore data, provide actionable recommendations, and leverage AI tools to improve reporting and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or BI-focused roles.
• Expert Looker/LookML skills: models, views, explores, DTs, dashboards.
• Proficient SQL: joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning.
• Strong Python for data analysis, scripting, automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and analytics tools.
• Interest in integrating AI into analytics workflows.
• Self-starter: data-driven, hypothesis-led problem solving.
• Ability to translate data patterns into business impact; communicate to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own client-facing analytics for QBRs and ad hoc requests.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to translate questions into analyses.
• Design and maintain LookML models, explores, and dashboards in Looker.
• Write complex SQL against Redshift, Aurora/MySQL, and Athena.
• Develop Python scripts/notebooks for data wrangling and automated reports.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and data exploration.
• Identify AI-powered use cases in the analytics workflow and narrate findings.
