Job summary

Outreach Health is seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights and clear requirements. You will work with business leaders to surface trends, validate data, and support decision-making through reports, dashboards, and custom analytics applications.

You will use SQL, Python, and approved AI tools to collect, validate, and transform data from multiple sources, driving measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of professional data analysis, BI, or related field.
• Ability to translate business needs into documented requirements and metrics.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SQL, including complex queries and data validation.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis, transformation, automation.
• Experience gathering and validating business/technical requirements.
• Ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong data-visualization skills and ability to present trends clearly.
• Familiarity with SFTP, data exchanges, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to understand objectives and decisions data must support.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify underlying business needs.
• Translate needs into functional data requirements and user stories.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop questions and hypotheses and present findings proactively.
• Interpret data and communicate conclusions and actions to stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and validation.
• Use Python for data analysis, transformation, and prototyping.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate analysis, coding, and documentation.
• Review AI-generated content for accuracy before use.
• Design reports, dashboards, and analytics applications to support outcomes.
• Support Power BI and transition analytics to Blazor/C# apps.
• Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into data products.
• Define calculations, filters, and interactions for reports and dashboards.
• Perform testing, QA, and user acceptance testing.
