Join Exigent Services as a Senior Data Analyst and be part of a dynamic team supporting the Defense Suicide Prevention Office (DSPO) by conducting advanced statistical analysis, trend evaluation, risk assessment, quantitative research, and analytical reporting activities that support the Postvention Response System (PRS), Suicide-Related Event Tracking (SRT), compliance monitoring, and evidence-based decision-making.
The Senior Data Analyst (Data Analyst II) will:
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses of Postvention Response System (PRS), Suicide-Related Event Tracking (SRT), and program performance data
- Analyze trends, patterns, correlations, anomalies, and emerging risk indicators across suicide-related event reporting activities
- Perform longitudinal, comparative, and time-series analysis to identify changes over time and emerging concerns
- Design analytic methodologies and reporting frameworks supporting quarterly and annual Government reporting
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level analytical products that communicate findings clearly
- Translate statistical findings into actionable recommendations supporting policy development and program improvement
- Support Government-approved automation initiatives and enhanced analytical capabilities
- Establish validation methodologies, data quality standards, and reporting controls
For this position, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree in statistics, applied statistics, biostatistics, data science, data analytics, quantitative psychology, psychometrics, behavioral data science, public health analytics, mathematics, operations research, decision sciences, or a related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience conducting statistical analysis, trend analysis, quantitative research, program evaluation, or performance measurement activities.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets and transforming findings into actionable recommendations
- Advanced experience in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members
