Job summary

Exigent Services seeks a Military Service Program Analyst to support the Defense Suicide Prevention Office (DSPO) with postvention coordination and incident response across Military Services. You will track actions, coordinate with overseas contacts, and help DSPO oversight through clear summaries and recommended actions.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, documentation, and compliance follow-up in a government context.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience including military, DoD, or Service-level program work.
  • Experience coordinating with Military Services, OSD stakeholders, installation leadership, or Federal partners.
  • Knowledge of postvention response planning, service-specific resource coordination, and compliance follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service-specific postvention response plans across Military Service stakeholders.
  • Support installation response coordination after postvention incidents with timely communication and resources.
  • Conduct PRS compliance follow-up and track service-level status.
  • Coordinate with Embassy, USDAO, and JMAS contacts to support overseas postvention requirements.
  • Engage with OSD and Military Service stakeholders to gather inputs and resolve coordination issues.
  • Prepare summaries, action trackers, and recommendations to support DSPO decision-making.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, military studies, behavioral health, public health, social science, or a related field

Job description

Join Exigent Services as a Military Service Program Analyst and support the Defense Suicide Prevention Office (DSPO) through Service-specific postvention coordination, installation response support, PRS compliance follow-up, Embassy/USDAO and JMAS coordination, and engagement with OSD and Military Service stakeholders.

The Military Service Program Analyst will:
  • Coordinate Service-specific postvention response plans, resources, and implementation support across Military Service stakeholders
  • Support installation response coordination following postvention incidents, ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and resource alignment
  • Conduct PRS compliance follow-up, track response actions, and support documentation of Service-level compliance status
  • Coordinate with Embassy, USDAO, and JMAS points of contact to support overseas postvention response requirements
  • Engage OSD and Military Service stakeholders to gather inputs, resolve coordination issues, and support Service-informed recommendations
  • Prepare clear summaries, action trackers, and recommendations that support DSPO decision-making and Service-level program oversight
For this position, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, military studies, behavioral health, public health, social science, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience, including military, DoD, or Service-level program experience
  • Experience coordinating with Military Services, OSD stakeholders, installation leadership, or related Federal partners
  • Knowledge of postvention response planning, Service-specific resource coordination, and compliance follow-up activities
  • Strong written communication, stakeholder coordination, data tracking, and action-management skills
