Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre‑sales, or hands‑on consulting (preference for 3+ years)
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production‑quality coding; live coding is required in interview
• Hands‑on experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with distributed data systems (Spark, Delta Lake, Hadoop, Kafka) and architecture reviews

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads
• Build and deliver proofs‑of‑concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams
• Develop account‑level technical strategies with your Account Executive
• Navigate competitive landscapes by articulating Databricks differentiation during demos
• Contribute reusable technical assets to the SA community
