Job summary

Visa is seeking a senior policy professional to develop, implement, and govern Data & AI policies and standards. You will translate regulatory and industry requirements into practical policy guidance used across business, technology, legal, risk, and compliance teams.

You will lead lifecycle management of policy documents, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply AI-enabled approaches to improve governance efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 2 years with a PhD
• Experience developing, interpreting, implementing, or maintaining Data, AI, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, Technology, or Governance policies or frameworks
• Ability to translate complex business, legal, regulatory, risk, or technical requirements into actionable guidance and documentation
• Excellent policy drafting, editing, and communication skills for diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop, interpret, maintain, and evolve Data & AI policies, standards, playbooks, and implementation guidance
• Translate regulations, industry standards, and governance frameworks into practical policy requirements
• Lead policy documents through lifecycle: drafting, alignment, approval, publication, implementation
• Collaborate with business, technology, legal, risk, and compliance teams to implement policy requirements
• Review emerging Data & AI use cases and provide risk-based guidance
• Develop implementation guidance, FAQs, training materials, and communication assets
• Use governance trends and feedback to improve policy clarity and usability
• Translate policy requirements into workflows, automated guidance, and scalable processes
• Leverage AI and automation to accelerate policy development and governance
