Job summary

Visa's Global Data Office is expanding its AI and Data Governance function to ensure responsible, compliant use of data and AI across the enterprise. In this role, you will lead Visa's Responsible Data Use program and guide how new AI solutions are rolled out globally.

You will collaborate with product, privacy, legal and engineering teams to review use cases, assess risk, and translate findings into actionable guidance, training, and policy updates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Strong background in data governance, data privacy, or a related field (payments/fintech a plus).
• Experience with AI/ML concepts, incl. generative AI and responsible AI frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data & AI use-case reviews and risk assessments.
• Drive Visa's Responsible Data Use framework and policy updates.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, privacy, and engineering teams globally.
• Provide thought leadership on data governance, privacy, and regulatory expectations.
• Create training materials and mentor junior colleagues in data policy reviews.
