Job summary

lululemon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Enterprise Data & AI team in Seattle. You will design data systems, AI-enabled platforms, and enterprise solutions across multiple product teams, emphasizing knowledge graphs and scalable architecture.

You will mentor engineers, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to drive strategy. This role requires onsite presence, with responsibilities spanning critical production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6-10 years of software development experience building complex systems.
• Proven track record of writing exemplary code and establishing coding standards.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into scalable solutions across services.
• Experience designing integration solutions across domains within architectural standards.
• Experience building knowledge bases in retail or similar domains.
• Familiarity with search, recommender and RAG/GraphRAG architectures.
• Experience defining enterprise semantic layers used across multiple product teams.
• Exposure to AI-Driven systems and knowledge representation for LLM-powered apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data systems, AI-enabled platform capabilities, and enterprise solutions.
• Drive architectural patterns and technology selections with broad impact.
• Conduct high-impact code reviews and establish engineering standards and testing practices.
• Mentor engineers and align with product and business stakeholders on strategy.
