Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Columbus, Ohio. In this customer-facing role, you'll deliver impactful solutions using the Databricks platform, working cross-functionally with teams. You'll ensure architecture excellence, guide customers on big data projects, and lead end-to-end system designs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in data engineering, is skilled in Python and Apache Spark, and is adept at navigating cloud ecosystems. Travel is expected 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
