Job summary

PTR Global seeks a senior Data & AI Engineer to design and deliver trusted data products for workforce analytics and executive decision support. You will own end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server and Fabric, building reusable models and AI-assisted analytics. The role emphasizes advanced SQL, data integration, and Excel-augmented reporting, with hybrid work across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering or related discipline.
• Advanced SQL development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience designing reusable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on Fabric experience or strong cloud data platform experience.
• Strong data modeling skills (relational, dimensional, semantic).
• Proven ability to work with Excel and Power BI for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Fabric.
• Develop reusable ETL/ELT processes moving data into governed analytical stores and semantic models.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL including stored procedures, views, and transformations.
• Design enterprise data models for Power BI, Excel, and AI-assisted analysis.
• Integrate data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources (Excel, CSV, APIs, emails, web data).
• Create repeatable data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring controls.
• Profile data for quality issues and implement remediation.
• Build analysis-ready datasets and semantic models for analysts and AI tools.
• Use approved AI tools for data analysis, SQL/code development, and documentation.
