Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a data analyst/AI engineer to design and operationalize AI-driven risk and data-management solutions. You will move from framing and data discovery to production deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

The role combines Python development, data engineering, and governance with collaboration across risk, data owners, and technology teams to deliver explainable, production-grade AI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, ML or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years building data analytics/AI solutions with production ownership.
• Advanced Python development, modular, testable code using Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn and DL frameworks.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, model selection and explainability.
• Hands-on AI solutions using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy agentic AI solutions with LLMs, RAG, tools and orchestration.
• Build Python services, data pipelines and APIs for multi-source data.
• Create evaluation frameworks for ML/AI: accuracy, latency, cost, robustness.
• Implement human-in-the-loop controls, audit trails and access controls.
• Collaborate with risk and business teams to define success metrics and scale prototypes.
• Document data lineage, governance, ownership and privacy controls.
