The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Data & AI Engineer to modernize data foundations and support the Naval Reactors Program enterprise analytics. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable data infrastructure enabling timely analytics across Financial Services, IT, and Digital Transformation teams.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-forward architectures, standardized data structures, and automated data flows, ensuring compliant, mission-ready financial

Qualificações

• Bachelors/Master/PhD in a related engineering or science field with relevant experience.
• Advanced Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer at NNL is acceptable as a qualification.
• Preferred degrees include Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality data pipelines and workflows across multiple systems.
• Develop and support data warehouses and data lakes for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes delivering clean, well-governed datasets.
• Collaborate with analysts, software developers, and business partners for reporting and analytics.
• Improve data quality, performance, and reliability via monitoring and optimization.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate new tools, cloud technologies, and automation to enhance scalability.
