Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking skilled DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Designers to design and draft DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for diverse facilities.

You will conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, and link budget analyses while preparing technical submittals, RFIs, and closeout documents. The role requires strong AutoCAD proficiency with Revit experience preferred, familiarity with NFPA 1221/1225, FCC RF rules, and iBwave modeling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit preferred for DAS shop drawings.
• Familiar with NFPA 1221/1225 and FCC RF rules.
• Experience with iBwave RF modeling is preferred.
• Industry RF/telecom certifications like iBwave, GROL, NICET preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family, high-rise, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Perform RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget creation, and predictive coverage analysis.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and commissioning documents with PMs and account executives.
• Maintain engineering libraries and document control for manuals, data sheets, and templates.
• Coordinate designs with electrical engineers, GCs, and RF vendors to ensure compliant systems.
