Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking DAS designers to design and draft DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for diverse facilities in the San Diego area.

You will perform RF modeling, prepare technical submittals, RFI’s, and closeout documents, coordinating with project teams to deliver compliant solutions. The role emphasizes strong AutoCAD skills, familiarity with NFPA/AHJ requirements, and experience with iBwave RF modeling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit a plus.
• Familiar with NFPA 1221/1225, AHJ DAS requirements and FCC rules.
• Experience with RF modeling tools (iBwave) is strongly desired.
• Industry RF/telecom certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft DAS and ERRCS shop drawings for multifamily, high-rise, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget, and predictive coverage analyses.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and closeout documents with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, GCs, and vendors to ensure compliant system designs.
• Maintain engineering libraries and ensure CAD/BIM standards are followed.
