Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking skilled DAS Designers and Senior Designers to design and generate DAS/ERRCS/shop drawings, perform RF modeling, and prepare technical submittals and closeout documents for diverse facilities.

You will work with PMs to ensure timely, professional submittals, coordinate with engineers and owners, and maintain architectural and RF documentation in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IFC, NFPA 1221/1225, local AHJ DAS code requirements, FCC rules, and building codes related to RF/ERRCS systems.
• Experience with RF modeling tools such as iBwave is strongly desired.
• Industry certifications such as iBwave Level 1–3, GROL, NICET, or related RF/telecom certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and related design software.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to multitask, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to independently take initiative to complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft DAS and ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family, high-rise, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget creation, and predictive coverage analysis.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Account Executives to complete DAS designs and submittals.
• Prepare AHJ documentation including RF test plans, grid testing, commissioning reports, and product data sheets.
• Manage and update engineering libraries, folders, data sheets, brochures, and templates.
• Apply company and National CAD/BIM standards to shop drawings.
• Coordinate designs with electrical engineers, GCs, low-voltage trades, RF vendors, and building owners.
