Job summary

HCI Systems is seeking skilled DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Designers and Senior Designers in San Diego, CA. You will be responsible for designing DAS/ERRCS system drawings, conducting RF modeling, and preparing documentation for AHJs. A solid background in AutoCAD is required, and familiarity with RF modeling tools like iBwave is desired. The position offers a competitive pay range of USD $35.00 - USD $45.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong background in AutoCAD is required; Revit experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with local AHJ DAS code requirements.
• Experience with RF modeling tools such as iBwave is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft complete DAS and ERRCS shop drawings.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, and predictive coverage analysis.
• Prepare required documentation for AHJs including RF test plans.

Skills

Strong computer skills including AutoCAD

Familiarity with IFC and NFPA codes

Experience with RF modeling tools (iBwave)

Industry certifications (iBwave Level 1-3)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam

Excellent communication skills
