Chobani seeks an experienced Process Engineer to join the process engineering team responsible for the design of the dairy processing portion of our New Berlin, NY plant. The role requires deep knowledge of dairy unit operations, equipment, and processing technologies, with preference for design, startup and operational support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in process engineering, with hygienic design experience.
• Experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is a plus.
• Familiarity with PLC and logic controls for manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dairy processing operations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Capital projects, Operations, Quality for seamless integration.
• Identify and mitigate risks to safety and reliability in projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process designs, specifications, and progress.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators.
• Travel occasionally to equipment vendors and other Chobani sites.
