Job summary

Chobani is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join the process engineering team at our New Berlin, NY facility. You will contribute to the design and startup of dairy processing operations and support ongoing production with technical expertise.

The role requires strong knowledge of dairy processing equipment and project lifecycles, with collaboration across departments to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant solutions. Occasional travel to vendors and other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferred, other engineering degrees considered.
• 7–10 years of experience in a F&B process engineering role, preferably in Dairy.
• Experience in dairy, beverage and/or aseptic processing equipment.
• Working knowledge of project life cycle deliverables, contract & schedule.
• May be required to work in a site environment with heavy equipment, smoke, dust and noise.

Responsibilities

• Process Design and Development: design dairy processing operations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaboration: work with Capital project managers, Operations, Quality, etc.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate risks for process engineering projects.
• Documentation: maintain accurate documentation of process designs and progress.
• Stakeholder Communication: communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Travel: occasional travel to vendors and other Chobani sites.
