Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an experienced technical leader to own cross-functional D2D system integration across satellite, ground, and cellular domains. You will coordinate engineering teams and external partners to deliver end-to-end D2D solutions, engaging with customers and partners in a dynamic, international environment.

The role emphasizes broad technical ownership, field readiness, and scalable processes to support a growing D2D ecosystem within Amazon’s satellite

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the Direct-to-Device (D2D) ecosystem, including NTN or direct satellite-to-cellular connectivity.
• Experience delivering end-to-end D2D technical programs involving multiple systems, engineering disciplines, and stakeholders.
• Experience working with mobile network operators and external technology partners to develop, integrate, demonstrate, or deploy D2D capabilities.
• Practical experience supporting D2D system development, integration, laboratory, field, and customer-facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities, processes, and tools to support and scale D2D services across satellite, network, device, and partner environments.
• Lead cross-functional technical programs, coordinating engineering teams and external partners to deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with MNOs, OEMs, RAN vendors and partners to meet requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Build trusted technical relationships and represent the solution in demonstrations, integrations, and field deployments.
• Connect satellite and ground systems across the complete D2D service chain to identify dependencies and coordinate solutions.
• Apply knowledge of satellite, ground, and cellular architectures to support system-level decisions.
• Develop scalable processes for partner integration, device validation, and operational readiness.
• Participate in laboratory, integration, and field activities as needed to understand system behavior.
• Create repeatable documentation to scale solutions across deployments and countries.
