Houston Methodist Flow Cytometry Core is seeking a full-time salaried research cytometry specialist to support over 70 principal investigators across biology, cancer, immunology, and biomarker research. The role involves operating BD Aria II, Discovery S8, Fortessa analyzers, Cytek Aurora, and other instruments, training users, troubleshooting, and developing methodologies as required.

Qualifications
- Demonstrates ability to operate flow cytometers and sorters proficiently.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
- Experience training users and troubleshooting instruments.
- Strong teamwork and commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate cytometers and sorters, including setup, QC, and daily monitoring.
- Train researchers in instrument use and data analysis workflows.
- Maintain lab inventory and assist in billing and data backups.
- Develop new methodologies per investigator requests.
